We have started grinding the concrete floors by doing the edges first. We've used a Diamond Surface Grinder with a 5" wheel. It takes about three passes to grind the rough concrete down about 1/8" to the 1-1/2" required overall thickness. After this we will grind the interior floor area with a large 4-head grinder, then start polishing everything until the floor is smooth and shiny.Duration: 1 floor (edges only) = 2.5 hours
